David’s Father’s Day Gift
Originally uploaded by coolauntstina
I had this made at CafePress.com. Ordered it last week and it already arrived. Very exciting. It turned out great!! It’s kind of an inside joke between us, but I think I just might make it a tradition and give him a year of shirt for each Father’s day.

Birthday Girl!

Tonight we’ll celebrate with the David’s parents ala Ice Cream, Cake and Presents. Then tomorrow we are off to Savannah for a few days. I plan to mostly hang out at the hotel pool and reading!
When we get back next week Lisa will get to have a little celebration with a few friends.
And then it will almost be time to celebrate my big 30! It’s fun to share my birthday month with Lisa!!
Happy Birthday! To a little girl who brightens my life and sure makes things exciting!! And she probably asks about as many Why questions as I did when I was a little girl.
p.s. the photo is from last year!

It kicks off my 5 weeks off. I am in need of a break. This year has been a whirlwind. It has been full of blessings. It’s not been an easy year but it has been such a gift and I am honored to now call these folks my family. Being a wife and a mom is a challenge, but it is truly a delight. We have a busy month mixed with traveling, time at home, visits with family and hopefully we’ll get my closet renovated. That is if I can ever get the nerve to empty it out. Yikes! It’ll get done.
I discovered that I can download a walktour of historic Savannah onto my i-pod. I think I’ll have a little solo tour one morning when I go to get our pretend reservations at The Lady and Sons restaurant.
Ok. Another blog entry for my moma. She wants the girls to write and eventually I’ll get around to it!

Visit to Atlanta

There were lots of kids I think I counted 10 kids between 1 week and 11 years old. So it was a bit of a zoo. No it was crazy. Kids inside and out, eating lots of yummy food, bubbles, giggles, screaming, a spray bottle with water, and just lot and lots of fun.
It was a true delight to introduce my lovely new husband and wonderful step-kidddos to more of my extended family. In general on a good time was had by all. They (my Zach, Sarah and Lisa) really enjoyed seeing their cousins Fuller & Tebow.
Lisa especially enjoys Tebow. She said several things on the ride home that were sooo cute!
1. She declared that she thought everyone needed a baby Tebow. She said, Alicia needs a Tebow, Sarah Ginny needs a Tebow, and we need a Tebow. I inquired, what about baby Seth. She said, well oh yeah everybody needs a baby Seth too and then she said, “Except Seth poops a lot.” Not sure where that came from but it made me laugh out loud!!
2. She also told me, “I wish I could go back in time and do that all over again!” I guess she had a good time.

Tomorrow I’ll host my first after church dinner with The Andrew’s family. It’s a dinner to celebrate Zach’s graduation from High School. We are so proud of him–he even graduated with a distinction in Fine Arts!! Yeah for artistic folks!
On the menu is Chicken Alfredo (one of Zach’s favs), Creamed Spinach, Salad, bread and a yet to be named desert. Zach still can’t decide what he wants. I’m so excited to host dinner in my new home with my new family.
